What is your favorite animal?
The Wolf
My favorite animal is the wolf. There’s a primal beauty in the way they move across the land – graceful, deliberate, as if they belong to the earth in a way we’ve forgotten. Each step is purposeful, a silent dance with the terrain, their bodies flowing like water over rocks. Wolves are more than predators; they are guardians of balance, keystones of the ecosystems they inhabit.
What I admire most about wolves is their loyalty to one another. They move as a pack, an unbreakable family bonded by instinct and trust. There’s a quiet intelligence in their eyes, a wisdom that speaks of survival and connection. They remind me of the importance of community and the strength that comes from unity. But there’s also a wildness to them, an untamed spirit that speaks to freedom – the kind of freedom that refuses to be caged or conquered.

Wolves are both feared and revered, embodying dualities: strength and vulnerability, ferocity and tenderness. To me, the wolf represents balance, a bridge between the wild and the sacred. They remind us to tread lightly on the earth, to honor the ties that bind us, and to never lose sight of the wildness within ourselves.
